We’re delighted to be in the heart of the watchmaking capital, this week, to attend the esteemed Geneva Watch Days 2022 fair.
As some of the most prestigious luxury watch brands come together under one roof, join us to take a first look at the newest releases unveiled here in Switzerland…
Jacob&Co.
Epic X
Jacob&Co. unveil the second generation of Epic X at Geneva Watch Days 2022, a whole seven years after the launch of the original in 2015. Redesigned to be sleeker, more streamlined and entirely up to date, the new Epic X collection is versatile and poses infinite possibilities.
The American luxury brand have released three versions to testify for this versatility: a steel case with blue aluminium part on steel bracelet or black rubber strap, a rose gold case with green aluminium parts on rose gold bracelet or black rubber strap, and a black DLC case with black details on rubber strap.
Astronomia Solar Bitcoin
Jacob&Co. continue to push boundaries and create revolutionary movements with their newest venture into the world of bitcoin. Nicknamed the ‘crypto-age timepiece’, the Astronomia Solar Bitcoin is a symbolic and horological tribute to the world of cryptocurrency.
Packed full of Bitcoin-related features – including a Bitcoin currency logo, a flying tourbillon, a yellow citrine sun, a diamond moon and a miniature rocket ship – 25 incredibly lucky cryptocurrency traders will be able to own this timepiece in a crypto of their choosing.
Ulysse Nardin
BLAST RAINBOW
Ulysse Nardin did not disappoint when it came to their showstopping timepieces at this year’s Geneva Watch Days. Daring the colour with a new version of the BLAST TOURBILLION, the timepiece is inspired by the iridescent rainbow colours of silicium, with bezels adorned with purple, green, blue or ink gemstones, sparkling in the sunlight for a “rainbow” effect.
LADY DIVER RAINBOW
The next generation of the LADY DIVER was also unleashed at this year’s fair. Presented in either black or white, the timepiece features several eye-catching decorative touches, including a forty stone set bezel which catches the light even within the depths of the ocean.
Oris
Hölstein Edition 2022
Marking their 118th birthday and paying homage to their humble beginnings in Hölstein 1904, Oris have launched the Hölstein Edition 2022 – a timepiece that revives the iconic Full Steel of the late 1990s.
Powered by Oris’s Calibre 690 Worldtimer, the 250-piece Hölstein Edition 2022 has a 36.5mm stainless steel case, a three-link stainless steel bracelet and a blue dial with the famous red plus and minus symbols. The timepiece is a true celebration of Oris’s rich and joyful history.
Divers Sixty-Five ‘Cotton Candy’
Following the success of the ‘Cotton Candy’ models released by Oris at Watches and Wonders 2021, the luxury watch house has unveiled three new models in sky blue, wild green, and lipstick pink. In keeping with their predecessors, the timepieces are beautiful, demand attention, and are sure to bring a smile to your face.
Powered by an automatic Swiss Made mechanical movement, the trio of timepieces sit at a perfect 38mm.
Aquis Date 36.5mm
Oris continue to bring colour and light to Geneva Watch Days with the launch of three new Aquis Date models in mother-of-pearl dials. The trio of timepieces shimmer playfully in the light, as the high-contract Blush Pink, Aegean Blue and Seafoam Green dials take centre stage within the purposeful 36.5mm stainless steel case.
DOXA
DOXA Army
DOXA has paid tribute to the first DOXA Army watch of 1968 at Geneva Watch Days 2022, with the reissue of the DOXA Army in stainless steel. Equipped with a sand-beige dial and, for the first time, a choice of bezel in bronze or steel, the DOXA Army takes the essence of the original design aesthetic with an added subtle touch of modernity.
Bulgari
Octo Finissimo Skeleton 8 Days
Bulgari delighted us at this year’s fair with the release of two new timepieces, the Octo Finissimo Skeleton 8 Days and the Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillion.
Combining a fusion of design with watchmaking expertise, the Octo Finissimo Skeleton 8 Days is the quintessence of the Octo spirit. With a new manual winding movement it offers perfect legibility and remains faithful to the stylistic signature of the Octo line.
Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillion
Combining perfectly the art of Haute Joaillerie and Haute Horlogerie, the Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillion oozes elegance and sensuality. With a contrasting play of diamonds and black spinels, the timepiece features a mechanical tourbillion movement and a tailor-made miniature calibre, designed to the nearest millimetre in order to be house in the iconic snake-head case.
MB&F
Legacy Machine Split Escapement EVO
MB&F’s horological creations have always been capable of turning heads. At this year’s Geneva Watch Days MB&F have unveiled a new addition to their Legacy Machine Split Escapement EVO. Crafted in grade 5 titanium with an icy blue base plate and slate grey dial, MB&F continue to finish their components by hand, making the view of its movement as mesmerizing as the dial.
Stay tuned as we deliver more exciting news from Geneva Watch Days.
